Cosas que me gustan de Noviembre

(For English, please, scroll down)

Mamen Fiol

The worst thing about this time of the year has arrived already: rainy days and the lack of daylight. How drepressing it is to wake up when still dark outside or going to pick up the kids from school when they only have an hour of sun to play outside.

But let's stop complining and focus on the positive things that november brings:

  1. It is time to warming up our bodies with rich home made soups (here the link to two tasty recipes: 1 and 2) Ah! And stock your pantries with sweet potatoes and chesnuts
  2. Time for drinking a hot chocolate before going to sleep
  3. The smell of home made chai latte in the evenings
  4. Time for wearing warm wool socks at home
  5. Time to take our coats and scarves when going to the streets and paint our nails in burgundy red
  6. It is time to bring the kids to the libray after school and do their homework there
November is, as well, the brithday month of my father, my niece Eva and my friend from colloge Cati and my friend Àngels. I send you kisses and my best wishes from this little corner of my life to all of you.

And now I would love to hear from you guys: What is what you like to do in this time of the year?
